Expert Eye Care for Pets

Lancaster PA Pet Eye Care

Eye care is an important part of the overall health of your pet. At every exam our veterinarians closely examine your pet’s eyes to make sure they are healthy and functioning properly.

There are a variety of symptoms of a possible eye condition or disease in your pet, including:

  • Watery eyes
  • Excessive blinking
  • Squinting
  • Redness
  • Puffiness
  • Pawing at the eyes or face

More subtle indicators of a problem include weight loss and dehydration, causing the eye to appear sunken. On the other hand, tumors, abscesses, or glaucoma may cause bulging of or around the eye.

Common Eye Problems We Treat

  • Conjunctivitis
  • Corneal ulcerations
  • Dry eye
  • Viral and bacterial infections
  • Eyelid abnormalities
  • Foreign objects
  • Glaucoma
  • Uveitis

Eye Surgeries We Perform

  • Eyelid mass removal
  • Entropion repair
  • Enucleation
  • Conjuctivital flap
  • Parotid duct transposition
