Sometimes, before we know it, our pets age and reach the end of a comfortable, joyful life. No one wants his or her pet to suffer. We are very sensitive to the emotions that come when a pet’s life is near the end. Our first priority is always the comfort of your pet, and we will do all that we can to alleviate any pain or suffering your aging pet may be experiencing.
Supporting You Through a Difficult Time
Because our pets can’t talk, it can be hard to know just how much they are suffering and when it may be time to say goodbye. While the decision is always yours, we are more than happy to offer our opinion about the health and prognosis for your aging pet. If and when you decide it is time to say goodbye, your wishes will be treated with the utmost respect and compassion.
When It’s Time to Say Goodbye
There are many options for you during this difficult time, and we will make sure you understand each and answer any questions you may have. Pet owners are welcome to stay with their pet during this time, and through the full process, should they desire. Some owners would rather not witness the passing of their pet, and that is completely fine, too. Whatever your wishes, we are here for you and will treat your pet with dignity and compassion.

The combination of rising temperatures, scorching UV rays, and suffocating humidity force many of us indoors where we can enjoy the hum of air conditioning all summer long. Active dogs may not recognize the adverse effects […]

All pets are worthy and deserving of stable, safe, comfortable homes regardless of their species, breed, gender, or age. That being said, however, younger pets generally enjoy faster adoption rates than older ones. And while most of us are helpless against the overwhelming cute factor attached to kittens and puppies, there is truly nothing like […]
